About

Kevin is a writer and lawyer living in Mid Coast Maine. His wife of 30 years is a midwife, women’s healthcare provider and public health advocate. They raised three children on a quiet road alongside a tidal freshwater estuary full of ancient sturgeon and hungry stripers, between waters and woods, under starry Maine skies, watching and listening to eagles, gulls, geese, ducks, crows, owls, cardinals, blue jays, and lots of nuthatches. They live on unceded land of the Wabanaki Nation.

The More We Take

The More We Take asks if we can overcome personal and national violence to love one another enough to then love — and save — the planet. Answers come in small steps (and missteps) taken by regular folks trying to figure out themselves, their families, and their partners. It’s hard work, and dreams and visions abound…
